A CHRISTCHURCH SUICIDE

An inquest was held at the city morgue to-day by Mr. H. W. Bishop, District Coroner', touching the death cf Thomas Rhodes' Christian, who was found on the previous morning hanging from a beam in a workshop in Madras Street. After hearing evidence the Coroner returned a verdict that the deceased had committed suicide while in a state of unsound mind.

A WAGGONER KILLED

DUNEDIN, Feb. 23

The police have received advice that a. waggoner named John Fitzgerakl was killed at Waipori Falls to-day.
