NEW YORK, Feb. 22
A Philadelphia strike crowd dynamited several cars and attempted to lynch a driver on a lamp-post. Mounted police charged them and cut the rope. One rioter was killed and 100 injured. Six hundred'strikers are demanding a sympathetic strike of all labor unions in the city, involving 100,000 workers. Hundreds of people are going to business on roller skates. Many people are using waggons, the charge for stand-ing-room being 2s.
Both s ides declare that they will fight to a finish.
