Mr. A. F. Walter, late principal proprietor of the “Times” newspaper, is dead.
[Arthur Fraser Walter was chief proprietor of the “Times,” and formerly Lieutenant-Colonel and Hon. Colonel Commandant Ist Volunteer Battalion Royal Berks Regiment; a director of the London and South-AVestern Railway; High Steward of Wokingham. He was horn in 1846. He was educated at Eton and Christ Church, Oxford. He was a barrister, but bad never practised.]
