Moderate to strong easterly winds and muggy weather have been experienced elsewhere. Present indications are for a continuance or h:"h easterly and south-easterly vinos anti an extension of the storm area further southwards. Cloudy and unsettled weather is probable generally, with heavy rain in many parts of toe North Island. The barometer will probably fall steadily everywhere.
