PROGRAMME OF FAREWELL TOUR.

TP er Press Association. 1 WELLINGTON, Feb. 21. His Excellency the Governor will remain in Wellington, during Lord Kitchener’s visit to the city and until" Tuesday, when lie will preside at the meeting for the election of a Rhodes scholar. On "Wednesday be will proceed to Napier, returning to Wellington on Friday. He will .go south next day, and will visit the Hurunui district, thence on to the West Coast, via the Otira Gorge, returning to Wellington on or about 13th March. Afterwards he will make a visit to Canterbury, Otago, and Southland, and, on his return here in April, will proceed northwards, via Tokaanui, on to the Bay of Plenty and Thames, returning to Wellington via the Waikato. Farewell visits are then to bo paid to the chief southern centres and to the principal towns between "Wellington and Auckland, his final port of departure for England. His Excellency will break his journey in Australia.
