N.Z. A. A..MEETING. AUCKLAND, Feb. 26. At the annual conference of delegates of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association this morning, Mr Ohlsen, chairman, said as far as Auckland was concerned there was absolute satisfaction with amateur sport controlled by the Council. Other delegates expressed themselves similarly. It was resolved that Marlborough, Nelson, and the West Coast be controlled by Canterbury, instead of Wellington. A motion that Taranaki'’be controlled from Auckland, instead of Wellington, until a centre was formed there, met with considerable opposition, and was lost. It was decided to recommend that the next Now Zealand championship meeting be held _in Christchurch, and the Australasian championship meeting at Dunedin. It was resolved to recommend tlie_ Council to increase the maximum prize money for the Marathon trophy to £25.
