PUNISHING OUTLAWS IN NEW GUINEA.

SYDNEY, Feb. 28
New Guinea news states that the outlawed chief Sitoa and the, rest of the gang who terrorised the inhabitants of Nell a Lavella, and were responsible for several murders of whites, wore captured. iSo-me few months ago this gang murdered the native wife and family of a Binskin trader at Bagga. A-native police expedition organised by the British Commissioner, resulted in the capture of twelve of Sitoa’s gang and the death of about seventeen others while resisting arrest.
