Sir Arthur Dalrymplc Fansliawe lias been appointed an Admiral of tlie Fleet, vice the Right lion. Sir Edward Hobart Seymour, who is retiring. ViceAdmiral Sir Edmund Poe will be com-mander-in-Chief of the Mediterranean squadron. The Hon. Sir Assheton Gore will be Commander-in-Chief at- Portsmouth.
