The Rev. D. C. Bates’ summary and forecast is as follows: —A westerly area of low pressure has prevailed m the [•oath for three days, and heavy rain fallen on the. "West Coast and in •Liie southernmost districts. Changjejtl.'.r. and very warm weather has been experienced generally. Present indica. tains are for a further rise in the baiomrter everywhere, with moderate to strong westerly and southerly - aids. Though conditions are not yet_ settled, there o are indications for an improvement in tlie weather shortly in most prrto of the country.
