MISHAP TO A DREDGE.

CABLE NEWS.

BREAKS AWAY FROM A TUG

United Press Association —Copyright

(Received March 12, 7.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 12

A tugboat towing the dredge Ulysses up the Richmond River lost her tow. The whereabouts of the dredge was for a time unknown. She had eight men aboard and no propelling power. A heavy sea was running, and the Government arranged for a search steamer. South-easterly gaies and drenching rain prevailed. Later it was learned that the Ulysses drifted ashore five miles south of Evans River, and that the crew were safe, but that a punt with two men aboard was still missing.
