Trengrove, ■who committed suicide on Wednesday by cutting his throat, his wife, who is now fit to give evidence, said Trengrove had been given to intemperance, and he often ili-treated her. On V ednesday morning she had packed her clothes, intending to leave the house. Trengrove had sail she would never leave.
