LONDON, March 14. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom totals 3,890,000 quarters; for the Continent, 2,215,000; Atlantic shipments, 47,000; Pacific, 13,000. The total shipments to Europe this week amounted to 1,245,000 quarters, including 433,000 quarters from Argentine and Uruguay. Wool is very firm. Competition is fully maintained, prices being unchanged. (Received, March 10, 12.1 a.m.) LONDON, March 15. At the wool sales' Iviku realised 14k! and averaged 1-2 jjd. Copper, spot, £59 3 S 9d, three months £6O 2s 6d.
Tin is dull. “Bulls” are realising owing to fears that the coal strike in Wales will check consumption. Spot, £144, three months. £142 17s 6d.
