The Huddart, Parker Co.’s Wimmera arrived from (South early on Saturday morning, and left later for Auckland and Sydney. She brought 150 tons of cargo and a large number of passengers for this port. On account of this the Tuatea, with outward passengers, did not go out till 11 a.m. The Union S.S. Co.’s Hauroto left Auckland at 12.30 p.m. on Saturday, and after calling at Tokomaru on the way down, arrived here at 1.30 p.m. yesterday, and left for Napier at 8 p.m. Mr C. Holdsworth, general manager of the U.S.S. Co., arrived by the Hauroto, and will be here for a couple of days on business. 1 The Westport Coal Co.’s Regulus sailed on Saturday afternoon from Westport with a load of coal for this port. She should be here to-morrow or Wednesday. The U.S.S'. Co.’s Squall arrived at Auckland on Saturday evening and leaves at noon to-day for Gisborne. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Fanny arrived from Napier yesterday morning with a general cargo. She returns at It a.m. this morning, taking a quan tity of maize, grass seed, and a motor car.

The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora is -working th e Coast, and on arrival at Auckland proceeds to Timaru to load produce back to Auckland. She leaves Auckland on March 31st for Coast ports, Gisborne and South.
