A STORY OF LOVE AND MURDER. United Press Association— Copyright (Received March 20, 5 p.m.) ROMcv, March 19. Countess Tamowska, under several days’ examination, told a thrilling story of her married) life, stating that her husband was a brutal, drunkard and constantly unfaithful. The Countess’ only lover was: Bordenski, whom her husband shot with a -revolver in her arms. The evidence showed that a man named Halk killed himself for love of the Countess. The Countess violently accused Naumoff in her efforts to clear herself of the charge of inciting Naumoff to murder Kamarowski, though Naumoff’s love, for her seems to continue. [The trial of Naumoff, a Russian, Prelukoff, a lawyer, and Countess Tarno wska, a Russian divorcee, for the murder of Count Kamarowski at Venice in September, 1907, commenced at Venice on March 4th. The Countess’ maid, named-Perrier, was also arraigned. At the time of the crime the Countess confessed complicity, alleging that Naumoff fell desperately in love with her. She was betro+v-n to Kamarowski. Naumoff determined to get rid of the latter, whose life was insured for £20,000 in favor of Countess Tamowska. Prelukoff confessed to the Countess- that he had planned tho murder to get tho insurance money.]
