Co.’s Tarawera arrived from South early yesterday morning, and left at noon for Auckland. She returns on Sunday. The Westport Coal Co.’s Regulus sailed yesterday afternoon on her return trip to Westport. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall, which was expected yesterday from Tologa and Auckland,” has probably met with bad weather on the Coast, and is no doubt (sheltering. At noon yesterday she had not been sighted at East Cape. The date of departure of the ’SqurJ for Auckland has now been changed to Saturday, March 26, at 5 p.m.
The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai arrives from South to-morrow, instead of on Saturday, on account of the Easter (holidays. The last launch is 'timed for 7 p.m., and for the convenience •of passengers the office of the Company will be kept open from 6 p.m. to 7 o.m. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s new steamer Ruahine, which sailed from Wellington on 10th February, arrived at Plymouth last Monday, having made the 'passage in 39 days, including stoppages at Monte Video and Rio de, Janeiro. The auxiliary schooner Kaeo is due to sail for Auckland this evening, hut the weather at present is unfavorable, and unless a change takes place she will not get away.
