The U.S.S. Co.’s Hauroto did not leave Wellington till yesterday afternoon. She is timed to leave Napier this evening for Gisborne, and should arrive early to-morrow, leaving later for Auckland. There will be only one launch, at 6 a.m. The auxiliary schocner Ivaeo has been waiting for several days to sail for Auckland, but the weather has not been favorable. It is expected that she will get away to-day, if the weather takes up. The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora leaves Auckland to-morrow for East Coast ports and Gisborne. On the Coast she loads wool for transhipment to the Star of Australia. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Fanny is expected to arrive from Napier this morning and to leave on the return trip in the evening. The Tyser Line’s Star of Australia is due from Wellington to-morrow. The departure of the U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai from Auckland, was delayed o-n account of rain till last evening. On the way down she is to call at Tokoniaru Bav, and she should arrive here this afternoon. The Tuatea ,goes out •on arrival, and at 7 p.m., but in the event of the steamer not arriving early there will be only the one launch. The Maoriland Shipping Co.’s Holmdale is to leave this morning for Greymouth. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall was leaving Auckland last evening for Tologa Bay and Gisborne, and should arrive here on Thursday. This trip Capt. Benton replaces Capt. Williams, who goes South for orders. Accompanying Capt. • Benton will be Capt. J. Brighton, late chief officer of the Tofua, who is to take command of the Squall. Capt. Benton is to join the Kamona as master.
