THE CLAPSHAM COMMON MURDER.

The man, Steiner Morrison, arrested as cabled yesterday, has been identified as having supped with the murdered man Beron on New Year’s Eve. _ He Avas seen Avitli him on other occasions. Morrison made a voluntary statement to the police; “I am a native of Australia, born in Sydney, and brought up in England. Latterly I worked as a journeyman baker.” The police testified that there Avas a Avound on prisoner, and that he had bloodstains on his cuff and collar. He was remanded for' a Aveek.
