The Union Co.’s Hauripi arrived last evening from Waipiro Bay, where she has been loading wool for transhipment to the Marere, now in the bay. On arrival the Haupiri went alongside the Marere, but it was found that the range was too great to allow the cargo to be transferred. Consequently the Haupiri went to an anchorage, and will be worked this morning. On discharging she will proceed to the coast to lift wool, to be transhipped to the Marere at Napier. The Union Co.’s Mokoia is due here from Lyttelton, "Wellington, and Napier late to-night or early to-morrow. The Tuatea will, so far as is known at present, connect at 6 a.m. to-morrow, and the Mokoia will resume her run to Auckland during the morning. She takes the following passengers:— Misses L. Wright, Campbell Thompson, R. Winter, and Parker : Mesdames E. Adair and Campbell Thompson; Messrs. Campbell Thompson. Manning, F. Wendeler, J. T. Gilmour, J. P. Winter, and Pearson. The Union Co.’s Squall, which arrived on Monday from East Coast ports, completed her discharge, and left for Auckland, via Tologa Bay, soon after midday, yesterday. The. ketch Coronation is expected to complete her discharge of timber either to-day or to-morrow, and will probably sail for Auckland on Saturday. The auxiliary schooner Orete continued loading general cargo for East Coast ports yesterday, and is expected to sail for Tologa Bay. en route for Auckland, this afternoon. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co.’s Matatua was at anchor in the bay at nightfall yesterday, but was expected to sail for Auckland about midnight. The Canterbury Shipping Co.'s Petone is expected to arrive in Gisborne with a cargo of produce to-morrow morning. The Tvser Co.’s Marere is still in the .oay, and is not expected to sail before this evening. She then proceeds to Napier. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s I’uahine sailed from Plymouth on Sunday last for Wellington, via Capetown and H-bart. Some 20 tons of transhipments from the Federal Houlder Shire Co.’s Durham came to hand by the Union Co.’s Squall on Monday. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s Whakatane left St. John’s on Saturday for Melbourne. Sydney,, and Auckland. BY TELEGRAPH. AUCKLAND. Jan. 24.
