ROWING.

GISBORNE CLUB

A meeting of the management committee of the Gisborne Rowing Club was held last evening. It was decided to row the races for the Muir Cup on the Taruheru River, commencing today. The drawings are as follows: Donald v. Curtis, Hamilton v. Richards, Tocker v. Miller. Mr. D. H. Faram was aonointed starter for today. The club "captain was empowered to get men coxswains for the Muir Cup.° The resignation of Mr. A. Donald, secretary, who is leaving the district, was accented with regret, and it was decided to"place on record Ins services to the club. _ Mr. V . S. Coleman •was appointed acting secretary.
