LANGFORD WINS ON A FOUL
[United press association— copyright.! LONDON, Feb. 21. In a fight between Lang and Langford. the former,, was disqualified for hitting Langford while' on his knees. La no- was hopelessly outclassed.- The “Star ” describing the match, says 1 that Langford repeatedly forced Lang into a corner, administering neavy rights and lefts. Lang went down for nine seconds in tlie. second round, and for eight in the third. He improved a hit m the fourth, and hit Langford lightly several times. In the fifth round _ Lang, took heavy punishment, and in the sixth he was very weak. Langford repeaedly hitting him. Langford slipped ped, and Lang hit linn, and was instantly disqu aiificd. “ MERELY' A WALK-OVER.” (Received Feb. 22, 11.20 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 22. The “Sportsman” says that the LangLangford fight was no sort of a. fight at any time, merely a walk-over.
