NEW ZEALAND BOXING CARNIVAL. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.! CHRISTCHURCH, Fob. 23. The New Zealand Boxing Omucil decided to vote 10 guineas so the tv .id being raised to send a New Zeaianu representative to the Festival of Umpire sports. The Millerton Association was granted permission to arrange a match between Tracy and Bromwich, for the light-weight championship. The matter of Rudd’s dis;i lalification was referred back to the Hawke’s Bay Association for further com si lerajien.. The case of B. Ellis, who failed to get down to the proper weight for the Australasian championship meeting was fully considered, and Ellis’s explanation was accepted. The chairman said the Council had no desire to punish Ellis for an error of judgment, but steps would have to be taken in future to guard against a repetition of the trouble. The Council decided to ask centres for reports on the judging systems in vogue, with the view of introducing a uniform system in the Dominion.
