BRITANNIA CYCLING CLUB
The Britannia Cycling Club are holding a race on. March 30th. for a set- of prizes presented by the “Boom” Cycle Co., around the Bushmere Itoad to Waeronga-a-liika and back to. town, in all about 17 miles.
Th-ei ‘‘Boom” Cycle Co. intend this to be an. annual donation to the club, and the club has decided to call it the “Boom King Road Race.” The prizes are a.s fonows: Ist, Boom King cycle, value £l3 10s ; 2nd, sot.mf wheels, value £3 10s; 3rd, pair tyres, value £2 5s ; booby, lamn value 14s 6d; fastest unplaced time, gold medal, value £4 10s.
Entries close with the secretary of the Britannia Cycling Club, in Grey Street, on Saturday, March 25t-h. and handicaps are to be declared on Monday, March 27tli. The prizes will be on exhibition in the “Boom” Co’s window, in Lowe Street, on Monday next and for the ensuing week.
