A meeting of Welsh Commoners resolved that the passing of the. Welsh Disestablishment Disendowmcnt- Bill in 1912 is an essential condition to the Welsh continuing their support to the Government. Mr Asquith aftenvards promised the deputation that if the Parliament Bill were carried the Government Avould give Welsh disestablishment such a position in 1912 as would enable it to override the Lords’ veto at present before Parliament.
