The Chambers of Commerce Congress has urged the Government to favourably consider reciprocal proposals at the Imperial Conference. It also unanimously recommended the appointment of a Royal Commission to inquire into the whole fiscal ‘question, and recommends the establishment of an Imperial Council of Commerce. It has been finally announced that the Congress of Chambers of Commerce of the Empire will meet in London during 1912.
