OUT ALL NIGHT.
INGENIOUS SUFFRAGETTES AND THE CENSUS. The Home suffragettes have discovered a new plan which they think will annoy the Government. Ten thousand of them intended to remain away from home on census night, and for the next two or three nights', if necessary, to thwart the census enumerators. They were to congregate in Tiafalgar Square, at the Aldwycli Skating Rink, and at the Scala Theatre, and proceed to various halls in London, where coffee and sandwiches and music were to be provided to while away the night. The law imposes a penalty of £5 for failure to properly fill up the census papers, but if the householder be absent from home no penalty can apply.
