Lord Kitchener, at a Coronation review at Leicestershire, said that the hoy flouts broke class prejudice and promoted comradeship, discipline, and resourcefulness. The scouts’ ideals: were ■the highest Christianity and patriotism. They must never forget 'that once a scout always a s'oout. When the nation had a million men and hoys imbued with the scout spirit it might be proud of itself.
