Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co/s f steamer Delphic, which left Liverpool on March 24 for Auckland direct, has cn board 6425 tons of cargo for New Zealand ports, made up as follows: For Auckland 2300 tons; for Wellington, 2000 tons’ for Lvttelton. 900 tons; and for Dunedin. 1225 tons. The Delphic is due at Auckland early in May. Just before the departure of the Government steamer Hinemoa from Wellington, trouble arose (as previously reported) amongst the crew in regard to the food supplied on the vessel. A. conference between both parties was held, and it was promised that things would be put rigid on the Hinemoa’s arrival at .uicklarul. Cofisecmentlv on the vessel’s arrival ‘.’ ere Captain Bollons ordered new culmarv utensils, the condition of those now in use being one of the men’s grievances. A Tie*? oil stove was also ordered- so the man on watch at night wi ll i.e a ole to brew himsplf a pot of coffee or tea.
