AUSTRALASIAN CHAMPION TOURNEY, [Fee Press association! DUNEDIN, April 21. The Australasion championship draughts tournament was continued today, when the fourth round was commenced, Brodie meeting Penman in the winners’ class, and Hilliker meeting Egan in the losers’ class. In the contest between Brodie and Penman, the former won the first game, the second and third were drawn, and the fourth was won by Penman. The last game occtupied about 2| hours, and Penman was heartily applauded at the conclusion.

In the losers’ class Hilliker and Egan played four drawn games. The handicap tournament concluded to-day, when Bruce met Keenan, and Carswell met Matheson. Bruce won one game and lost one to Keenan, and Matheson scored a win and had a draw against Carswell.

The following are the scores: —Bruce 161- points, Matheson 16. Hutton 121, Lang 124, Iveenan~l2, Moore 111, Botting 11, Gillies 10, Penman 9, Carswell 9, Morris 6§, Edwards 51.
