AN INNER HARBOR VICTORY

* [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.! ' NAPIER, April 27. Intense interests was taken in the municipal arid harbor polls, the- results of which were not. declared till midnight. All the old,! Council, with the addition of Mr. W.| A. Smith, who replaces Mr. J. P. Thomson, who is absent in England, were returned. The Harbor Board election resolved itself into a fight between the ’ breakwater and inner harbor parties, the latter winning all three Napier seats, with Messrs J. J. Niven, W. J. McGrath, and M. F. Bourke. The victorious party are pledged, to thoroughly investigate as to the best harbor, and it is not unlikely engineering advice will be sought from Home.
