OFFICIAL SUMMARY AND FORECAST. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, May 24. The weather summary and forecast is to the effect that fine weather has prevailed except in the extreme north and south, where light showers have fallen. To-day the barometric pressure is decreasing every where. Moderate to strong easterly winds fiave predominated in the North Island and northerly in the south. ... c . The present indications are tor tresnening northerly winds, increasing cloudiness, and haze preceding a change for somewhat milder and more humid conditions. Generally the barometer will piobably fall everywhere.
