(.FEE PBESS ASSOCIATION.J WELLINGTON, May 28. The retail price of butter, Is 2d per lb., remains unchanged at present. There are indications, however, that a slight rise, probably a penny per lb., will take place very shortly. Yesterday a Wellington house purchased a line of Auckland butter (500 cases) at l'2£d per lb f.o.b. Auckland. Working this out the merchant says a rise in tne .retail price cannot -be avoided 1 .
