HOME SEPARATED BUTTER
[TO THE EDITOR.]
Sir, —In the intervieAV Avith me published in Saturday’s issue of your paper, an inaccuracy crept in which I Avish to correct. I Avas made- to say that the home separated butter took first honors at the recent Auckland Winter S'hoAV, whereas Avhat I really said Avas that it took third prize. Probably the error arose from the fact that I mentioned that a feAV years hack it actually did take first prize. What gave rise to the remark Avas the fact that a good many people are under the' impression that home separated cream- does not produce good butter. Obviously it is a good thing to have the cream collected and taken to the factory as is done at Whangarei and Northern Wairoa.—l am, etc., JOHN HESLOiP. .
