RAILWAY COMMISSIONER'S CONTRACTS.
[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.) (Received June 12, 9.10 p m.) SYDNEY, June 12. During a further hearing in the Coal Vend case the evidence dealt with the Railway Commissioner’s contracts, the object being to show that they had little bearing on the raising of the price of coal.
Further evidence was given regarding the Kethel mine operations, during the strike, but little fresh was disclosed.
