William Lambert, of North Otago, has been sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment for carnal knowledge of a girl under 16 years of age. SELLING NATIVE LANDS. WELLINGTON, June 15. The Maori Land Purchase Board this morning were considering offers from owners to sell to the Crown blocks of various areas, totalling over 100,000 acres.
