HUNTING
MEET AT AWAPUNI. A meet of the' Poverty Bay Hunt Club was held at Awapuni yesterday. The hounds threw off at 11. a.m., but the scent was bad, and no kill took place. A good number of spills occurred, including the master. Amongst those present were: Mesdames. Pattullo and Gaddum, Misses Sherratt, Black, and Lorna Allen, and Messrs W. G. Sherratt (Master). R. Sherratt, Pr Walsh (huntsman),' Humphreys, Parker, Gaddum, Thomas, Machell, W. Allen, Jobson, and a number following.
