Air Crichton-Browne, presiding ,t a meeting in support of the Child Emigration Society which deals with those under the poor law guardians, remarked that by medical selection children who could not he sent out with absolute confidence, -would become very valuable assets to the Dominions. “The colonials have waste lands,” he added, “and we waste humans. Let them ho brought together for tlie Empire’s good. Mr Wlialley, the ' organising secretary, stated that- West Australia was willing to share in the cost of the j,reposed scheme.
