Reports from Toronto state that the Roman Catholic wife of Dr. Mcßea left him after the Ne Temcre decree was published. The Doctor, with a friend of his named Shaw, went to his wife’s uncle’s place, seeking to induce her to return to him, but a quarrel arose, and her uncle shot Shaw fatally.
