WELLINGTON CLUB’S MEETING. IFEF, TRESS ASSOCIATIONS WELLINGTON, July 9. The Wellington Metropolitan Coursing Club’s meeting was held at Wallacoville yesterday. Though the- meeting 1 was not largely attended, it was a successful gathering. Results: — Exhibition Cup.—First Round : Wellington beat J.D.K.Z., Middlemarch beat Lonsdale, Valorous beat Temuka, Kilfolem beat Despatch, Captain Starlight boat War Rose, The Leader beat Stranger, Headlight a- bye. Second Round: Wellington beat Middlemarch, Kilfolem heat Valorous, Headlight boat Captain Starlight, The Loader a bye. Third Round: Kilfolem beat Wellington, Headlight beat The- Leader. Final: J. Brosanan’s Kilfolem, by Tolstoi-—Gertie, heat Wirema Neeri’s Headlight, and won the stake.

Coronation Stake.—Raffles heat Captain Starlight, Rufus Dawes heat Diffident. Final: J. Higgins’ Ruffles, by Battleaxo—Ganger’s Gift-, beat- AViiemu Neeri’s Rufus Dawes, bv Prison Gate— Pret-tv Polly, and won the stake. Supplementary Stake.—First Round: Dividend heat Balderish, Kingoek Girl heat Lonsdale, Middlemarch beat Temuka. Second Round: Ivingock Girl boat Dividend,Midsummer a bye. Final: J Williams’ Kingoek Girl, by Raffles— Matins, beat J. Higgins’ Middlemarch, by Greenwood —Sunbonnet, and won the stake.
