NORTHERN BOWLING ASSOCIATION.
LPEB PEESB ASSOCIATION.! WELLINGTON. July IS,
The Council of the Northern Bowling Association to-night granted an application for affiliation by the Tiakaka Club (Nelson). The Council considered a letter from .the Auckland Provincial Association stating that members of its associated clubs desired to Toijr the North Island next season.
Doubt was expressed as to the wisdom of recognising the Auckland Provincial Centre as the controlling body, and the Association decided to signify its approval of the tour and refer the Auckland Association to the various clubs as to arranging the programme. The Council concurred in a suggestion to hold a conference in August to consider the amalgamation of the Auckland, Northern and New Zealand Associations, and appointed Messrs A. S. Keith, N. Casey (Auckland), and T. Bush, delegates with power to add. In the event of the New Zealand Association sending more than two delegates it was understood that the conference might be held in Christchurch or Wellington.
