SUMMARY AND FORECAST. (PBS PRESB ASSOCIATION.J WELLINGTON, July 28. The Meterological office to-night issued the following weather summary and foieoast:— Heavy rain fell in the far north during Thursday night, and showerv weather lias prevailed to-day on the East Coast of the North Island, and the weather has been cloudy and unsettled at times elsewhere. There has been little movement of the barometer. Moderate to strong easterly and south-easterly winds have prodominated. Present indications are for a falling barometer in the southern districts, with increasing winds and moderate to strong easterly winds are probable' in. the northernmost districts. Unsettled and cloudy weather is expected at times generally, and showery in parts. The low pressure is due to a pass in the south on or about Sunday morning.
