SENATE AND REPRESENTATIVES AGREE

(Received August 13. 5.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, August 12. The Senate and the House of Representatives. after numerous conferences, have settled the disputed Wool Bill percn tage of twenty-nine ad valorem. The President’s veto 'is now feared. Carpetwool rates have increased by ten to twenty-nine per centum, and ordinary wools have been reduced from thirtyfive per centum.
