The Senate and the House of Representatives. after numerous conferences, have settled the disputed Wool Bill percn tage of twenty-nine ad valorem. The President’s veto 'is now feared. Carpetwool rates have increased by ten to twenty-nine per centum, and ordinary wools have been reduced from thirtyfive per centum.
