Arriving from Napier and southern ports to-morrow morning, the Union Co.'s Monowai will be tendered at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., and resumes her passage to Auckland, via Tokomaru Bay, about noon. Messrs. Huddart, Parker, and Co.'s Wimmera arrives from Sydney, via Auckland and Tokomaru Bay, to-morrow afternoon, and proceeds south during the evening. The launch connects on arrival and at 7 p.m. The ketch Coronation, which left here on Thursday, 7th inst., for Mercury Bay, made a smart passage, and returned to Gisborne yesterday. Her cargo is comprised of 86,000 feet of timber for local merchants.
The Union Co.'s Haupiri is timed to arrive here from the south to-morrow, and leaves again for Auckland, via East Coast bays, during the day. Messrs. Richardson and Co.'s Koutunui arrived at an early hour yesterday morning from Auckland, via East Coast bays, bringing a general cargo. She proceeded to Auckland, via East Coast ports, last nightThe Union Co.'s Squall arrived from Auckland, via Tologa Bay, yesterday morning, having left the former port about noon on Saturday. Her cargo was as follows: —355 bags cement, 200 bags lime, 220 bags sugar, 240 sacks coal, 197 bags manure, 33 cases bottles, 39 cases lead pipes, 20 sacks husks, 290 cases kerosene, 75 cases benzine, 10 cases naphtha, 60 sacks flour, and the balance of transhipments ex Aparima and Rimutaka; also a large quantity of sundries and general merchandise. She returned to Auckland last evening. The Anchor Shipping and Foundry Co.'s Waimea, which left Greymouth for Gisborne at 5.30 p.m. on Friday, experienced fine weather, and arrived here yesterday morning. Her cargo is comprised of 5000 railway sleepers for the Public Works Department, and she is expected to complete her discharge to-day. The Canterbury Shipping Co.'s Breeze is due to load at Dunedin and Oamaru on the 21st inst., at Timaru on the 22nd, at Lyttelton on the 23rd, at Napier on the 25th, and should arrive here on Tuesday, 26th inst. The auxiliary schooner Orete arrived at Auckland on Saturday, 16th, and is sailing for East Coast ports and Gisborne on Saturday, 23rd inst. TELEGRAPHIC. NAPIER, Sept. 18.
