The Prime Minister said that the corrected electoral maps, which he hoped to lay on the table on Friday, would make all such matters clear, tie maps would be distributed by thousands. Veitch, president of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants of New Zealand, was to-night selooted as _ the Labor candidate for the Wanganui seat at the general election. There are now four candidates, the other three being Messrs. J. T. Hogan (Government), Geo. Hutchinson (Opposition, and C. E. Mackay (Independent) .
