Advanced Grade: E. Hill 67, V. Poavell, 76 (pupils of C. J. East.) Intermediate: N. Hamond 66 (Miss Fishenden); M. Mortleman 67 (Mr. O. J. East.
Junior: 0. Craig, 72 (Miss Liddell); E. Davies. 64 (Miss Jacob); E. Nicholas, 63 (Miss Fishenden); L. Robertson, 66 (Mr C. J- East). , Preparatory: N. Bruce, 66 (Miss Hagett); R. Kirkpatrick, 64 (Mr C. J. East); N. Angland, 75, D. McKay, 71 (Miss Fishenden). The piano on Avhicli the test pieces Avere played wag kindlv lent for the occasion by Messrs : Chrisn and Sons. CANDIDATES FROM THE CONVENT.
The pupils presented at the Convent School were very successful at the examinations, each of them passing creditably. ’The results of the' examination Avere as follows: — Piano: Advanced grade, Ivy jSeenan, 62; upper division, Maggie JNeenan, 65; lower division, Kitty Murphy, 75; preparatory, Emily Maddock, 71. Singing: Maggie Neenan 68. Violin.: Loavoi* Division (honors). Kitty Murphy, 83 (pupil of Mr. John Vita). ~
