Ini the words of its officials, the Trades and Labor Congress now sitting at Calgary, Alebrta, has “hurled a bomb broadcast throughout the world” with hi resolution that it has just adopted. The resolution reads: ‘ ‘Whereas. the workers of many cauntries are now alive to the fact that the capitalists of the world cause all wars, this congress is of opinion that the capitalistic class should be allowed to do all the fighting. “And, whereas, the idea lias become general that a universal strike in those countries contemplating war is at present the most powerful preventive, it is therefore resolved that this congress endtorses that idea so that the . workers may see an exhibition of fighting done by the capitalists who are fond of it.” The resolution is to be sent to the American Federation of Labor, the British Trades Congress, and the German Labor*'Federation.
