SUMMARY AND FORECAST. U’EB I’KKBH ASSOCIATION..! WELLINGTON, Sept. 27. The Meteorological Office to-night issued the following summary and forecast : The barometer rose during the night, with moderate to strong south-west-erly winds and cold and showery weather. Fair to cloudy ’conditions have prevailed to-day, with showers in parts, but improving generally. "~ Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds, changing to northerly after about sixteen hours. .The barometer is unsteady, and is likely to fall in the south, for a westerly area of low pressure of moderate intensity, clue to pass on Friday. Fair to cloudv and rather milder weather may be looked for during the next 24 hours.
