King George of England has accepted honorary membership in the American Cross of Honor and the cross of that organisation. Ambassador James Bryce has written Thomas H. Herndon, president of the American Cross of Honor, advising him of the King’s acceptance. The organisation is made up of Americans who have received medals for acts of-heroism. Honorary members are President Taft. Emperor William, the King of Italy, the President of France. Theodore Roosevelt and Andrew Carnegie.
