TO-DAY’S GAME. A competition will be arranged on the links this afternoon, and a large number of players have signified their intention of tabling part in it. The links, and particularly the greens, are in excellent condition at present, and consequently some good rounds should be done. N.Z. LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP. FINAL- TO-DAY. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Oct. C. The semi-finals of the New Zealand ladies’ golf championship were played! this morning. Miss Lucy Brandon beat Miss Collins (the 1910 champion) 4 up and 3 to play, after an interesting game. Miss Braudon’s long game was very steady, but she seemed nervous on the putting greens. The Coronation medal was also competed for, with the following results: - Miss P. Anderson, 90; handicap 22; 68. Miss Gray, 93 —15 —7S. Mrs Donald, 97 —19 —78. Mrs Cox, 95 —17 —78. To-morrow at 1 p.m. the final of the championship event will be played, and the prizes will be presented at 3.30 p m. by His Excellency the Governor.
