PRODUCE SALES. Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. held their usual produce sale on Saturday, when the following prices were realis'd : —Chicken* od to 9d. drakes Is 2d. fowls Is -Sd to 2s, eggs yd anti lOd per doz.. ■butter lOd to lid per lb. bacon Old per lb. ham 7d per -b. cabbages 2s 6d to 2s 9a per dozen, potatoes 10s per sack, seed potatoes 6s per ewt.. and small vegetables as usual. The following prices were obtained by Messrs Miller and Craig at their auction sale of produce: —Chickens 7d to Is Id. hens Is 6d to 2s 4d. roosters 2s to 2s 6d, ducks Is lOd to 2s 4d, turkey gobblers 12s, maize 9s 6d per sack, table potatoes 8s per sack, onions 4d per lb, kumeras 3d per lb.. lemons 4d to Od per doz.. eggs 9d to lOd per doz., butter 10d per lb., and tomato plants 4d per bundle. HORSE SALE. The yarding of horses at Messrs. Williams and Kettle’s Bazaar ou Saturday totalled 70, and 20 of these were useful-looking harness horses, put up on behalf of Messrs. Daulton Bros., Te Arab These sold at prices ranging from £ll to £2-5, and hacks realised from £8 to £l2 los.
