ROWING.

POVERTY BAY CLUB

The committee of the Poverty Bay Rowing Club met last evening. Present: Messrs J. Webb (in the, chair), A. McConnell, S. Doig, G. Douglas, J. Corbett. J. Stewart, A. Kirk and F. Snowden.

The following alteration was made in the crews for the Trial Fours: —E. Poswillo to take the place of W. Carroll in E. Kellett’s crew. A crew consisting of the following Avas entered: N. Ingram (str.), G. Dayman,, B. W r est and B. Fuller.

The- folloAV-ing were appointed strokes for tlie season: J. W. Nicholas, A. McConnell, T. McConnell, G. Douglas, C. Clark, J. Prickett, J. McConnell, H. Holschier, S. Doig, W. Neill, AY. McGuffie, J. Stuart. D. Ivellett, S. Ledger W. Hall, E. Roache, J. Corbett, F. SnoAvden, N. Ingram, J. Newton, C. Winter and T'. Parker.

A selection committee will be chosen at the next meeting, Avhen a full attendance of members of the committee is -requested. GISBORNE CLUB.

The folio-wing crews have been selected to row for trophies presented by Mr R- Robertson for A Grade members:— Quigley (str), P. Fromm, Jim. Winter, H. Muir; R. Pycroft (str), Port, O’Brien. A. de Lautour; Miller (str), Alley, Bright, P. Wyllie; McConville (str), J. Pollock, C. Wyllie, Gallop; N. de Lautour (str), Brabant, Fraser, Scott; Cuimming (str), Reddell, Oman, Malone.

For trophies preented by Messrs Nicholls and Griffiths for “B” Grade members:—Jeffries (str), Moore, Scarfe, Church; Everiss (str). A. L. Winter, A. Quigley, Maynard ; H. M. Puflett (str), G. Framm, Parsons, Cogar; Coleman (str), Jackson, Sweet, Evans; Tucker (str), Donovan, Wells, Cammock; Hamilton (str), Gardiner, Gyson, Harrison; Rutherford (str), Donnelly, Melville, File; E- H. Puefltt (str), Kaye, Stevenson, Haultain. The races are to commence on the 14th November, 1911.
